Slingin’ Rod Logo

2018

I was hired by the founder of Slingin’ Rod, a fishing company based in Hopedale, Louisiana, to design a logo for the company’s website, social media and marketing materials. The client requested a circular logo with an image of the speckled trout, a fish local to the Hopedale area.

After sketching the fish by hand using photos of speckled trout as a reference, I created an illustration of the fish in Photoshop and incorporated it into a circular logo based on inspiration I received from the client. The Slingin’ Rod founder was thrilled with the final product and has integrated the logo into all of the companies’ materials.
