Left Behind

These photographs are part of a senior project that received Georgewtown’s Misty Dailey Family Award in Studio Art and the Clifford T. Chieffo Award for Art in 2022. While on a walk along one of Washington DC’s hiking trails, I discovered an abandoned encampment hidden amongst the trees. These images showcase the collection of belongings that remain in the woods beside the trail, which are the only evidence of the individuals who once lived there.
